December 9 An Advent Prayer

God of Advent,

         God of Peace,

         You know us inside out

         And judge us in your righteousness.

         Clear our minds and our vision,

         Help us declutter our lives,

         So we, like you, may see clearly to welcome others,

So we, like the prophets, may prepare a way for you to enter our lives

And the lives of others,

In ways familiar and new

         May we live our lives in Peace

         Preparing the way, as people of the story of God’s restoration

Breath Prayer for the week: Inhale: Open my mind and heart to you, O God

Exhale: May my life reflect your peace
