Annual Delegate Sessions 2021
Dear Delegates and Guests,
Excitement is growing and final details are falling into place as our MCA gathering day draws near. I look forward to our time together to learn about our shared ministries, to engage and ask questions, to make decisions and to worship. In other words, to be the church!
I’d like to highlight several items for our March 20 sessions:

Theme: Encountering, Embracing, Embodying Christ in Community - E3 Year 2 will roll out with reflections from Werner De Jong (pastor, Holyrood Mennonite Church)

Budget: this year the budget includes a half-time Church Engagement position; see my report for focus areas

Special Resolution: a proposal for revisions to MCA’s Constitution and Bylaws is being brought to delegates

Documents: the Report Book and constitution documents can be downloaded at www.mcab.ca; a revised document will be uploaded to the site following the Constitution & Bylaws workshop

Worship: an all-MCA worship service on Sunday, March 21 will cap off our 2021 delegate sessions; register at www.mcab.ca or contact your church office for the link
As in 2020, this will be a Zoom meeting. Protocols can be found in the Report Book. Downloading the Zoom app or opening and signing in to a free personal account prior to the session will ensure that you’re able to take part in all activities and features, including raising your hand and voting.

The zoom meeting will be open at 9:00 am on March 20 for visiting and for those who wish to test their connection. The session will begin at 9:30 am.
