MCA Priorities

As the MCA faith family, our vision is to be a community of Anabaptist-Mennonite congregations worshipping the one holy and loving God. Joined together in Jesus Christ, we are guided by the Holy Spirit and scripture as we seek to grow as communities of grace, joy and peace. Together we seek to embody Jesus Christ in the world.

The activities and ministries we share as MCA can be summed up in the following priorities:

Supporting Congregations

How do we help congregations live into God’s calling?

MCA assists in leadership development, pastor support, and other congregational supports; we help create models and resources to face challenges of being the church in today’s world. As the MCA faith family we walk with each other as we seek to be the people God is calling us to be.

Nurturing Connections

How do we build new relationships and keep the connections we share strong?

Jesus Christ calls us into community. As part of the broader Mennonite Church we connect through networking, prayer support, community development, and story telling. Our connections include the MCA faith family, our broader church family including the nationwide community of faith; and the body of Christ in the world.

Celebrating Faith in Action

How can we express and live into our faith? How can we be more fully the church through ministries we share?

As a broader faith family we are stronger and able to do more together than we could ever do on our own. We celebrate together the ministries that enable us to more fully express our faith in both word and deed.
