Thank you for another successful ADS!

Thank you all for the inspiring and encouraging  Annual Delegate Sessions and all-MCA Worship!  We had a wonderful two days together!

Highlights from both are now on the ADS page.

You will find both of Werner's messages, the Children's Feature from Sunday morning, the Year in Review plus videos from Doug from MC Canada and our students at CMU.

If you missed it and heard it was great -- sit down with a cup of tea and catch up!

Also there are new E3:Year Two resources available.  Find those HERE

Annual Delegate Session Reflections

.                                        from our moderator, Brenda Tiessen-Wiens

How fitting that our theme of Encountering, Embracing, Embodying Christ in Community began with worship and was full of community-building time  together! Although Saturday’s business session elicited less discussion than expected, attendance and engagement at workshops leading up to the ADS were full of thoughtful feedback and affirmation. When I think back to last year's discussion, it's clear that we are entering our second year of COVID uncertainty with greater confidence and faith. I look forward to seeing plans and dreams take shape in 2021 and to the fresh perspectives that new committee members bring!

Just as a bulb can grow to show the beauty of its Creator,

we too are created with the potential to show God and God's love to those around us.

May these plants encourage us to show God's love to others.

The blooms of our MCA bulbs give but a glimpse of the immense beauty of the goodness of our Creator!

This summer, let the image of Christ in you shine bright,

as you show God's love and goodness to your neighbours near and far.

A revised Constitution and Bylaws will be brought to delegates for approval at MCA’s 2021 Annual Delegate Sessions on March 20.

This past year MCA Executive and General Council began a review of MCA’s Constitution and Bylaws, which had not been updated for some time. A number of revisions and updates have been made in response to this review.
